GlassOuse

The GlassOuse is an assistive device designed to help people with disabilities move their hands to do things such as control their computer, tablet, mobile phone, or TV through head movements. It can be used by people with limited movement because of conditions including Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke, brain tumors, brain tumors, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and muscular dystrophy.

The GlassOuse is a Bluetooth mouse that is worn like glasses that can detect head movements to match them with the direction in which user wishes to scroll the cursor. The cursor can follow head movements in any direction including upward and downward directions.

The device is accompanied by a removable and waterproof rubber case. It looks like a microphone, but is meant to simulate a mouse click when the user bites it. The GlassOuse looks similar to eyeglasses but includes a 9-axis sensor which makes it possible to move the mouse cursor with user’s head. It comes with a rechargeable 330mAh 3.7v Li-Po CEBA cell. The cell offers about 15 hours backup on a single charge depending upon the usage.
